Key Point Coral Gables’s toddler program encourages children to use their senses, bodies, and their curious minds to explore the world at their own pace.
From, “Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you See?” during morning assembly, to the daily exploration of experience time, we balance individual student attention with whole group experiences. Our teachers are sensitive to your child’s interests and various levels of development, and will design age appropriate experiences that will engage and inspire your child.
Key Point Coral Gables utilizes the “HighReach Learning” curriculum throughout our toddler and Pre K-4 classrooms. This carefully designed curriculum is based on the knowledge of theory and research in early childhood education, coupled with an understanding of valued best practices. The HighReach Learning curriculum incorporates experiences that permit learning through guided play and active discovery.
Key Point Coral Gables is proud to integrate the highly accredited character strength building program, “cloud9world,” into our toddler through Pre K-4 curriculum.
- “The mission of Cloud9World is to support an evidence-based values education program that will instill in our children a deep concern for the well being of others; including their fellow students, teachers, family, and members of their local and broader communities. This is accomplished through teaching and reinforcing daily deep feelings of commitment to values that the students internalize as ethical guides as they mature into young adults and beyond.”
- – Cloud9world mission statement
While incorporating both the “HighReach Learning” curriculum, and the “cloud9world” character program, Key Point Coral Gables follows an on-site developed scope and sequence titled, “KPA Bright Bambini.” This custom designed cross-curricular program has been developed to best serve the toddler through Pre K-4 students at Key Point Coral Gables.
Our teachers are committed to, and highly trained in our Key Point Coral Gables curriculum design. We strive to develop the most well rounded students and to nurture their inquiring minds.
